Processing

During our 2024 season:

  • We had 12 processing nights

  • We processed 230+ deer

  • Our volunteers spent 1,500+ hours breaking down deer, trimming silver skin, grinding meat, and weighing + packing 10 lb bags of meat!

  • We made over 360 meals for our volunteers

  • 38,000 plates were served to those in need thanks to our processing nights.

  • No! We would love to help teach you how to process deer. Come willing to learn and we would love to teach you a lifelong skill.

  • Nope, we have plenty of knives to cut up deer and we have a grinder and sealer that we use for processing nights. If you would like to bring your own, that is fine but not necessary!
