HARVEST. PROCESS. DONATE. EAT.

IMPACTFUL SEASON 2025-26

With the help of over 50 volunteers, spanning over 1,850+ hours of volunteer time October - January, we were able to process 310 deer and donate 8,438 lbs of venison to Holland’s Gateway Mission and Matthew’s House Ministry in Grand Rapids! Our volunteers provided $65,000+ worth of butchering savings and the donated meat saved those organizations just shy of $70,000 from purchasing meat!

We are extremely grateful for the time our volunteers gave, the funds donors helped us with, and the friendships made along the way.

Keep an eye out for upcoming events for Doe Patrol as well as Crop Damage information this summer.

THANK YOU for an incredible season!

WHAT WE DO.

At Doe Patrol, we create opportunities for hunters to connect, grow, and give back. Through hands-on events and mentorship, we teach skills in ethical hunting, meat processing, and stewardship. In the process, donated deer become meals for those in need, making hunting about more than just the hunt.

DONATE

HOW WE DO IT.

At Doe Patrol, we bring hunters together through hands-on experiences that strengthen skills, build friendships, and give back to the community.

  • Processing Nights - offers a chance for volunteers to help turn donated deer into meals while learning proper butchering techniques.

  • Private Processing Lessons - giving hunters one-on-one instruction on how to process their own meat from field to freezer.

  • Mentorship Program - pairing experienced hunters with newcomers, ensuring the next generation learns ethical harvesting, stewardship, and conservation.

  • Bow giveaways and Hunting Community Events - creating spaces where hunters of all backgrounds can connect, learn, and grow together.

Within all of this, we are able to give back thousands of pounds of meat to those in need in our community.
